Prepare devices and networks

Use these requirements before installing a collector at a customer site.

What must be installed

Install the PCGEN Ops360 monitoring collector on each server, Hyper-V host, domain controller, or network gateway you want to monitor. The collector sends heartbeat and health metadata to Ops360; it does not need inbound access from the public internet.

Download collector template (manual)

Create the device below. Ops360 generates a device-specific installer with its token already embedded.
Download the configured agent after saving, then run it once as Administrator on the target Windows device.
The installer creates a hidden SYSTEM scheduled task, starts the first heartbeat, and closes.
Allow outbound HTTPS traffic to clientops.pcgen.mt.
Confirm the device changes to Online after its first heartbeat.

MikroTik firewall requirements

Add the current public IP of clientops.pcgen.mt to the MikroTik address list already used by your support rules. The current address is 162.19.226.53. The collector only makes outbound HTTPS connections; no port forwarding, dst-nat, or inbound WAN rule is required.
